B2B eInvoicing

Regarding B2B transactions there is an initiative from the Treasury Department with the Business eInvoicing Right (BER) to permit businesses to require their suppliers to issue invoices via Peppol network.

The Australian government intends to introduce this initiative (Business eInvoicing Right) in phases based on company size. However, the BER initiative has not yet been formally approved and remains pending.
